1. It expired
Promotional codes can stop working. Compare the code with the current list and check the last verified date.

2. It was already used
Most codes can only be claimed once per account. A second attempt can fail even when the code is still listed.
3. The text changed
Keep capitalization, numbers and underscores exactly as shown. Remove spaces before and after the code.
4. New code delay
A newly announced code may take time to become active or appear on community lists.
5. Wrong entry point
Use the in game redeem field under settings or the gift box. The code is not redeemed on a wiki page.
6. Interface issue
On mobile, the gift box and settings paths can look different. Reopen the menu and check for the current label.
What a help page cannot do: it cannot force an expired or already used code to work. If the checklist fails, record the exact error and check a newer source.
